Older people across England told Care & Repair England that their homes are very important to their health and wellbeing.

A decent, suitable home can enable older people to

  • Be safe, warm and independent
  • Live as part of a local community
  • Stay actively involved with their family and friends
  • Age well at home for longer

"My home means everything to me, it is part of who I am"                                                                    Mrs James, 82

In this film older people describe their experience of home and its importance.
